“Darkly Dreaming in Black Waters” is a spiritual sequel to HP Lovecraft’s At the Mountains of Madness.  It involves a Shoggoth, Nazis, and a member of the infamous Heller family.  I did a lot of research for this story with my friend Mario Medina and ended up naming one of the characters after him.
