Butcher Knives and Body Counts: Essays on the Formula, Frights, and Fun of the Slasher Film

I first saw the incredibly cheesy horror movie Sleepaway Camp when during the 7th grade at ROTC (Reserve Officer Training Corps) camp.   It was not a pleasant experience.  Change never is when you are closed minded and don’t have a clue about the world or life.  You can read about my hilarious experiences in the essay “Sleepaway Camp: Kicked in the Gender” available in Butcher Knives and Body Counts: Essays on the Formula, Frights, and Fun of the Slasher Film, (Dark Scribe Press, September 2011)
