“Asenath”

“Asenath” was the little short story that took forever. I just submitted it to Cthulhurotica under the wire.

It is a retelling of “The Thing on the Doorstep” from the point of view if Asenath. I mixed the mythology of the dreamland cycles and the Mythos with a strong female character. The facts of the story work with the unreliable narrator from “The Thing on the Doorstep” and uses an awesomely horrible story from the bible.

by Jason Andrew
